The Festival of Balloons at the Sheraton

Over 400,000 balloons were used to create art that ranged from ceiling-high dioramas to tiny table-top creations on display at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Dallas on Sunday. If you made it, beating the half-mile long line that wound through the hotel, you were greeted first by Dee White's incredible Balloon Dirk Nowitzki. More highlights, and crowd favorites, were Italian Balloon Artist's Large Structure Winner (the knight battling the dragon) and the yellow balloon car. Danny Hurley was there (fighting through the 6 million families) to capture the event.
