Swarms of celestial gazers packed into the Perot Museum’s plaza for a free solar eclipse-watching event on Monday. Lasting from noon to 2 p.m., attendees had the chance to make tools for viewing the eclipse and grab a free pair of E15-filtered glasses to experience the eclipse.
In addition to the eclipse frenzy, Uptown resident John Posada proposed to his girlfriend of 1 year 4 months, McKenna Post, under the shade of the partial eclipse.
