It’s been eight years since the Dance Theatre of Harlem went on hiatus, and now that the vacation is over, it’s back to work and back to Fort Worth. Because everyone has to come back to reality sometime. At 7 p.m. the Dance Theatre of Harlem will take the stage at the Bass Performance Hall, 525 Commerce St., Fort Worth, hosted by Performing Arts Fort Worth. Among the dancers are two North Texans: Jehbreal Jackson, who grew up in Dallas and started taking ballet classes at 10 when he got sent to the wrong classroom, and Stephanie Williams, who debuted with the Texas Ballet Theater in 2006. Dance Theatre of Harlem is more than 40 years old now, and the dance ensemble is bringing all new shows to venues across the globe. Tickets start at $16.50 and are available online.
