Walk through the pitch-black hall of doom, run into a few corpses, or let them run into you. Don't take that early exit; Michael Myers is just around the corner. You feel like you could potentially get sick, but there's no turning back now. Forget about turning around to find out your friends took another route, the dead guy with the chainsaw is straight ahead: If you run, he'll run after you; if you walk, he'll still run after you. There are still two more haunted houses--you barely got through this one, but remember Halloween only comes once a year. If you're up for the challenge, Dallas ScareGrounds is up to scare you. With one ticket, guests are invited to travel through three haunted houses: the Necrotorium, The Terrortorium and the Hallucinatorium. Admission also includes the ScareGrounds' festival featuring food, entertainment and gifts. The ScareGrounds are open weeknights from 7:30 to 11 p.m. and weekends, including Halloween, from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $17 to $25. The ScareGrounds are located at 2001 Irving Blvd. For more information, visit dallasscaregrounds.com.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.-1 a.m.; Sundays, 7:30-11 p.m.; Wednesdays, Thursdays, 7:30-11 p.m. Starts: Sept. 25. Continues through Oct. 31, 2009
