Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Boom

If you thought journalists and biotechnology wouldn't be caught dead in the same room, boy...were you right. Except in the case of Boom, a story that takes a marine biologist and a journalism student on the journey of their lives, perhaps changing the fate of the entire human race. Beginning as a steamy rendezvous in a subterranean lab, the pair is soon faced with the enigma of human existence and search to answer the eternal question, "Why are we here?" Boom runs from Friday through Saturday, March 13, in the Black Box Theater at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, 3120 McKinney Ave. Tickets are $10 to $30. Call the box office at 214-953-1055 or visit for tickets and showtimes.
