I'm not spoiling Shane Mauss' act by describing his introduction gag, because it's obvious what he's doing. Also, because it's not that funny. Anyway, he lists recent accomplishments, like his wedding anniversary, his fourth year sober, having lost 250 pounds, etc. They're obvious lies, so don't succumb to clapping peer pressure. In fact, much of his act--which improves--is built on lies, like he didn't know "pussy" was an insult: "I thought he was calling me the best thing on earth!" He'll fib Wednesday through February 6 at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road. Tickets ($15 to $17) are at improv.com.
