The Boiler Room

Boiler Room is a bar and music venue located just off Denton's historic downtown square, nestled below the Abbey Inn pub and restaurant. On a busy night, concertgoers may have to wait in line before descending the narrow staircase into the dimly lit basement club. And it's that smoky beer-soaked college-town rock bar atmosphere that packs in Boiler Room's regulars, no matter who's playing the stage. The venue space caters to local and touring acts, with live shows most nights of the week and DJ nights the rest. The bar offers drink specials like the very popular 75-cent wells on Tuesdays. Boiler Room also has plenty of pool tables, foosball tables and dartboards for killing time between band sets.
