Yucatan Beach Club

An oasis off the highway, the Yucatan Beach Club holds 10 volleyball courts on five acres of sandy land. With palm trees, a thatched pool-side bar and a smaller tiki version across the playing field, it's family friendly until 7 p.m. every day. The main bar, housed in a building of corrugated metal, offers darts, pool tables and hookah service with a variety of flavored tobaccos. A party room provides a space for corporate parties and birthdays, and a large elevated bar caters to large groups and locals with a menu appropriately summer-themed. Kebobs, Volley Bowls, pizzas and burgers keep volleyball players coming back, as do bucket and shot specials during the week.
