A few items of local interest worth peeking at this a.m., among them some musical highlights -- and high notes -- from Saturday night's Bugle Boy GayBINGO at the Lakewood Theater, benefiting the Resource Center of Dallas. Also: some excerpts from Mark Cuban's address to the Blog World and New Media Expo 2007 in Las Vegas, where the Dallas Mavs' owner delivered the closing keynote. You can see him talk about how he doesn't use his blog as a baseball bat (except on, maybe, Bill O'Reilly), or you can see him explain how they tallied the votes on Dancing With the Stars. The whole 73-minute presentation is here.

But also available is this morning's what-the-hell? entry, a confusing bit of something titled Keys to the Kingdom, which touts itself as "a behind the scenes documentary about political campaigns running an election in the kingdom of Dallas, Texas." If you say so. Little help? Anyone? --Robert Wilonsky
