Tomorrow, UNT students with the munchies are going to have, like, the best day ever, man.
The Little Debbie Cupcake Cars arrived in the Dallas area today, and will be giving out free samples of Little Debbies as part of the Share-A-Thon Tour. They'll be in various Dallas locations today through Wednesday. Tomorrow at 10 a.m., they'll stop at the Kroger locations at 5021 Teasley Lane and 500 W. University Dr. in Denton.

Speaking of mobile cupcakes, Tillman's Roadhouse (a Dude Food fave) has opened a second location in Fort Worth at 2933 Crockett St., near the intersection of W. 7th Street and University. The new location will include new items such as the Cupcake Carousel.
Cyclone Anaya is holding a fund-raiser dinner 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at the Prestonwood location (5225 Beltline Rd.) to help send the Turtle Creek Chorale to Spain in July. Chorale members in their performance attire will be on hand for photo opportunities.
Smashburger will donate $1 to the North Texas Food Bank for every Lonestar burger (with cheddar, chili and jalapeno slices) sold through Friday. Our slogan suggestion: Heartburn for the Hungry.
Scott Gottlich (Bijoux, The Second Floor) will be the featured chef at the James Beard House in New York Thursday, along with his executive chef J Chastain and his sommelier and wife Gina. Gottlich will prepare signature dishes from both of his restaurants in an event called Best of Dallas. Hmm ... Why does that term sound familiar? Anyway, you may want to pass on both restaurants until the chefs return.
Brooklyn Jazz Cafe is bringing in Pacific Coast jazz flutist Bradley Leighton for its annual Holiday Mixer 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
