Pizza Patron has issued what just might be this season's prettiest promotion.

The Dallas-based pizza chain, which explicitly celebrates "the Latin life," is now distributing loteria-style discount cards in honor of Mexico's bicentennial. The colorful cards visually reference the bingo boards that have been a staple of Mexican culture for more than a century.

"These are images that Hispanic culture is very familiar with," spokesperson Sandy Bell says.

Bell isn't sure whether Patron patrons are picking up the cards so they can claim the coupons on the back or if they're keeping them as collectibles. But Bell says the promotion has been so unexpectedly successful that the company's had to print a second batch.

"All our stores are running out," brand director Andrew Gamm is quoted as saying in a release.
