The Denton-bred, Austin-refined Riverboat Gamblers, just a few weeks removed from a return to DdFW for a couple of shows, have officially announced the details surrounding the band's upcoming 2009 disc, Underneath The Owl--which is basically to say that the band has officially set the release date for March 10.

But, wait, there's more: The band has made its first single off the disc, "A Choppy, Yet Sincere Apology", available as a free download, after allowing Spin to debut the mp3 on its site last week.

You can get the song in a few places: Spin' site (still--and the most recommended, as it's the most convenient way to get the track); the band's own web page; the band's iLike page; and the band's PureVolume page.
