According to a missive I received recently from the NFL’s shopping center, the Cowboys will kill the Redskins on Sunday. In merchandise sales, that is.

From April 1 to Oct. 15 of this year, the Cowboys were – yes, again – the NFL’s best-selling team. The Redskins? Barely cracked the top 10.

As for individual player jerseys, Tony Romo – who carries the burden of being a franchise savior into D.C. – is No. 2 behind only Brett Favre and his spiffy New York Jets’ duds. Cowboys Marion Barber (4th), Jason Witten (8th) and Terrell Owens (10th) show up before the highest Redskin – tight end Chris Cooley at No. 18.

The Cowboys, in fact, have five of the top 20 best-selling jerseys. While you ponder the relevance of popularity toward Sunday's outcome, jump for the full rankings:
