Deep-Dish Sketch Comedy

Dallas is about to get served up, Chicago style! Members of the famous Chicago-based improv comedy troupe, The Second City, will be collaborating with members of the local Brierley Resident Acting Company to put on Second City Does Dallas at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. So what does the Windy City make of the Big D? Dunno, but they’re pros. For those who are too young to remember the early days of Saturday Night Live and the long-lost SCTV, the group has been the starting place for many famous comedians ranging from Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd to Tina Fey. The performance begins on 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with shows running through September 30. Tickets range from $15 to $80. The AT&T Performing Arts Center is located at 2100 Ross Ave. in Dallas.
