If the thrill of the 75 isn’t enough for you, maybe the Port-A-Cool Texas World Dirt Track Championship at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth will be. It’s a down and dirty, pedal to the metal, fuel-injected hootenanny where you can scream as loud as you want because the engines will just scream louder. It’s a family-friendly event, provided your kids are down with the latest swear words, and at $5 a pop for children under 12 it’s cheaper than a baby sitter. ($10 for adults.) Saturday’s race kicks off the 2013 season with a showcase of Modified, Limited Modified and SUPR Late Model cars. Crush some tall boys and let your inner bald eagle soar. Get your tickets at texasmotorspeedway.com.
