Drink Your Way To Cubism

Considering the cost of a specialty craft cocktail hovers somewhere in the $8 to $12 range, you’ll get absolutely plastered during Cocktail Evening at The Modern (3200 Darnell St., Fort Worth), because reservations cost $60 and you’re no fool. Gargle beautiful drinks featuring Reyka Vodka, Hendrick’s Gin, Milagro Tequila, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, Art in the Age of Spirits and Monkey Shoulder Whisky while talking loudly at people who know about art. Then, pile on the gluttony with small plates and hors d’oeuvres created by the cafe’s chef, Dena Peterson. Drunk-sway music is provided by Vandell Andrew and the evening runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Visit themodern.org, or call the cafe at 817-840-2157 to book your spot.
