Fashionistas who can't go to Fashion Week can get their fix in Dallas, where designer duds, from wedding gowns to plus-size styles, will roll down the runway this Thursday. The Pin Show, now in its third year, showcases the creations and talents of independently established designers, models, stylists, artists and photographers. The 30 featured designers--from Dallas, Houston, Austin, Atlanta and Los Angeles--have adopted the "slow fashion" movement, which is dedicated to making quality clothes with a conscience. Frocks from the designers can be purchased at the show. The runway show begins 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Union Station, 400 S. Houston St. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets at the door are $12 to $18, with VIP seating (available online only) for $40. Visit for more information.
