Bust out the absinthe and hide your guns, everybody: Vincent Van Gogh is in the house. From now until January 7, the Dallas Museum of Art (or, as I like to call it, Not The Kimbell) is hosting Van Gogh's Sheaves of Wheat,, the largest collection of Van Gogh works shown in the Southwest in decades. You wont get "Starry Night," but you will get a whole lot of paintings of wheat fieldswhich would be boring if anyone other than Vinny had painted them. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, $12 for students with ID and $8 for children 6 and under; children under 6 and members get in free. And before you get all excited, they're not trading tickets for earlobes this yearI asked. The DMA is located at 1717 N. Harwood St. Call 214-922-1200 or visit dallasmuseumofart.org.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Nov. 4. Continues through Jan. 7
