Though only a scant few miles separate them, the architectural worlds of Turtle Creek and White Rock couldn’t be more different, and this weekend the two neighborhoods are throwing down like Jets versus Sharks. In the ultimate battle of east versus west residential domination, which we will now dub the White Rock versus Turtle Creek Home Tour Rumble, Turtle Creek’s high-rises with high prices will be taking on the modern and minimal stylings of the beloved mid-century White Rock homes. The White Rock tour kicks off at noon while the Turtle Creek tour starts fashionably late at 1 p.m. Sunday, so roam the halls of these fancy homes and then decide whom you truly want to be your neighbor. Tickets are $15 to $20 for the White Rock Home Tour and $50 to $60 for the Turtle Creek Home Tour. Visit whiterockhometour.org and turtlecreekassociation.org for the full list of homes.
