That's Right, You Heard the Man, Free!

In addition to free entry to the museum (allowing visitors the opportunity to see the fantastic Thomas Heatherwick exhibition), this month’s family-friendly Saturday is themed, “Creatures.” Family activities from 10 AM – 2 PM will feature a children’s art activity, demonstrations by artists and an art scavenger hunt. So bring your pint-sized explorers for a fun, fall afternoon exploring art and creepy crawlies. For those interested in more relaxing ventures, yoga in the garden begins at 11:30 AM and Storytime with the Dallas Public Library begins at 12:30 PM. Stop by the Nasher Sculpture Center (2001 Flora St.) for Target First Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit the Nasher website at www.nashersculpturecenter.org .

KEEP THE DALLAS OBSERVER FREE... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
