Bobby Patterson and Waco's Classie Ballou To Play Ponderosa Stomp

The eighth annual Ponderosa Stomp show, which aims to showcase the "unsung heroes of American music" and showcases, well, pretty much any type of music you could tie to its locale of New Orleans recently announced its lineup, and it's worth noting that two area artists found themselves asked to participate in the ceremonies.

Who? Waco-based zydeco legend Classie Ballou and patron area soul saint Mr. Bobby Patterson hisself.

Basically two living pieces of proof that there's no reason to give up on this music thing too young in your career. Ahem.
