Not sure when it started being specifically "KXT 91.7's annual summer concert series," as the National Public Radio-backed music-centric station KKXT-91.7 is so proudly calling it today on its website, but, hey, here we are, heading into another summer, and, as has been the case for a few years now, the folks at Oak Cliff's Belmont Hotel are revealing yet another series of concerts to take place at the boutique hotel's pool area under the "Barefoot at the Belmont" name.

All joshing aside, let's throw some credit KXT's way -- while turning a blind eye to the fact that, maybe an hour ago, we heard them playing Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire." This lineup is pretty much as impressive as, if not more so than, any Barefoot at the Belmont series we've yet seen.

Among the acts playing in front of the hotel's prime view of the Dallas skyline (maybe the best around, although surely the folks at The Loft have a nice counter-argument) in the coming weeks are Rhett Miller, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Mike Doughty, James McMurtry, The Orbans and Air Review (on a great, shared all-local bill) and, someone we just introduced you to last week, Bobby Long.

Check out the full schedule after the jump, and get your tickets right here.
