Gird your loins: The conspiracy theorists -- by which I mean the truth-tellers, of course -- are coming to town. Beginning a week from tomorrow, the Adolphus Hotel will host JFK Lancer's November in Dallas 2008 confab, scheduled to run for three days to coincide with the 45th anniversary of John Kennedy's assassination. No doubt, the sapphire anniversary will bring forth many more tie-ins in coming days, among them a Discovery Channel documentary that bows this Sunday titled JFK: Inside the Target Car.

It's being billed as "the closest look yet at the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963," so it must be true. And like Crash Davis it believes Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, as in: "With methodical cutting-edge forensics and Zapruder film archives, the experts painstakingly show that the fatal bullet was fired from the Texas School Book Depository, not the grassy knoll." So, case closed? Dang. A video sneak peek after the jump. --Robert Wilonsky
