Hudson House on Lovers Lane has been recognized as one of OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2024 — the only restaurant in the DFW area on the list.
OpenTable is an online platform that helps users search, book and manage restaurant reservations worldwide. Currently, more than 60,000 restaurants, bars, wineries and other venues are accessible on the online service.
The Top 100 Restaurants in America list, released annually by OpenTable, includes the most sought-after fine dining restaurants across the country from the past year.
This list is highly diner-driven. Selections are based on 14 million verified diner reviews, along with other factors such as diner ratings, the percentage of five-star reviews and reservation demand.
Hudson House’s Lovers Lane location is one of the 10 Texas restaurants on the list. Other selected Texas eateries include J Carver's in Austin, Signature in San Antonio and Steak 48 in Houston.
Hudson House is known for its raw bar offerings and coastal vibe. Diners can enjoy fresh, specialty oysters, shrimp cocktails and pressed tuna sushi. It is also a good happy hour place, where you can get half-price wines by the glass, Bellinis and martinis, $3 oysters and a $10 cheeseburger.
We've anointed Hudson House’s cheeseburger one of the best burgers in Dallas. We love the two 80/20 thin patties, topped with American cheese, thick-cut pickles, onions and Hudson Sauce, a house-made spicy version of Thousand Island dressing. We have also declared Hudson House to have the best mac and cheese in Dallas.
There are currently seven Hudson House locations throughout the country — five in the DFW area, one in Houston and one in Beverly Hills. Frisco residents can expect the opening of a new one near Stonebriar Centre in 2025, according to Community Impact.
