We'll be releasing information on some of the featured restaurants in the coming weeks, but for now, I had to tell you about this year's chef battle. It's shaping up to be a good one.

Last year Scott Romano defended his title against challenger TJ Lengnick, and this year he's going for a turkey. Victory may not be as easy this go around though as this year's challenger is Matt of FT-33.

Surely, you've heard of McCallister's work at his popular Design District restaurant. He's been awarded four stars from The Dallas Morning News and is beginning to garner national attention for his fresh creative takes on modern cooking.

Want to see McCallister take on reigning champion Romano yourself? Go on and pick yourself up some tickets. General admission is $30 if you buy in April, $35 in May and $40 the day of the event and include food, beer and wine sampling and entertainment. Or if you like to roll VIP tickets are $70 if you buy in April, $75 in May, and $90 the day of the event. VIP Tickets get you into the event an hour early, give you access to a few extra special restaurants, and even more booze.
