If you're dining in a group, the Joe Leo Tacos are a solid option. Served with house-made bacon fat tortillas, your protein options are brisket smoked with ancho chile and brown sugar, carnitas slow-cooked with orange peel, chicken tinga with tomatillo and a vegetarian option, the sweet potato picadillo with pumpkin seeds and roasted poblano. The taco set-up ranges from $11.95 to $13.95 per person, depending on your protein choice.

This week, The Rustic — the massive uptown bar/restaurant/music venue that specializes in Texasy takes on bar food — unveiled a new menu, and it's worth a visit. Just in time for summer, The Rustic introduced a few lighter dishes to complement heavy hitters like the Hot Chicken and Cheese sandwich and an epic taco platter. Read more about the new menu here.
