Dear Autograph

When it comes to advice columns, I'm a lot more interested in Dan Savage's words of wisdom than those of Ann Landers' replacement, Amy Dickinson. Maybe I'm a perv, but weird fetishes are just a lot more entertaining than social gaffes and grieving children. But if you want to know more about the life of America's authority on coping with rude in-laws and inconsiderate guests, Dickinson will give a presentation and sign copies of her memoir, The Mighty Queens of Freeville, 7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway in Plano. Admission is free. Call 469-385-1815.
