Do you want to build a snowman? Have you heard that question about an hundred zillion more times than you ever thought you would in your whole lifetime? Well, you wouldn’t be the only one. But maybe it’s time to change the narrative a little bit: from the frozen icescapes of Arendelle to the warmer climes of the Amazon. Replace icy mountaintops and ditzy snowmen with tropical rainforests, fire demons and mystical plant life. Princess Anna, make way for Aki—the hero of “The Magic Rainforest: An Amazon Journey”, a visually stunning escape from your Disney soundtrack hell produced by the Cara Mia Theatre Company. All ages will enjoy this blend of puppetry, masks, costumes and physical theater that brings the Amazon to life in a story about a youngster who confronts his demons and discovers that they’re not quite what they seem.
