Funny Business

If you enjoy coming dangerously close to wetting your britches from body-rocking laughter (who doesn't?), then grab a ticket to an Ad-Libs Comedy Improv Troupe show. The performers are squatting at a venue called MOUTH, and although the space may be temporary, the hilarity has been fully cemented in Dallas culture since 1986. The comedians totally rely on audience participation for bits, so an attempt at tossing a curveball is a must. Ad-Libs plays at 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at 2626 Main St. in Dallas. Tickets are $18 to $20, and reservations can be made at 214-754-7050.
Fridays, Saturdays, 10 p.m., 2008
KEEP THE DALLAS OBSERVER FREE... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
