They say that love comes in all shapes and sizes. That you should take risks for love. That love is an adventure. Or, in the case of Chop — the one-man play from funnyman Brad McEntire — they say all of those things at once. The dark comedy tells the story of an isolated man who becomes involved with a woman who leads him to an underground amputation fetish group. McEntire premiered Chop in Dallas at 2010's Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, and since then it's taken stages all over the country. Now he's back to perform the fiercest comedy on two legs in his hometown. See it at 8 p.m. Thursday or through February 7 at the Margo Jones Theatre (1121 First Ave.). Tickets are $12. More information at audacitytheatrelab.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Jan. 29. Continues through Feb. 7, 2015
