If you’re not familiar with the work of Tim Kerr, you’re about to be. (Unless you stop reading, but don’t be a dick.) Tim paints portraits of artists and has long dreamed of a show where his portraits are surrounded by the artists’ work. Fortunately, Bruce and Julie Webb are in the business of making dreams come true. Beginning Sunday, the Cosmic Telephone Party Line exhibition will be on display at the Webb Gallery. And because two-fers are still a thing, this particular show will also feature the work of artist Daniel Higgs who “may or may not attend the opening reception” according to Tim. No matter, Tim will be there along with DJ Rid, both Webbs and a gallery-load of other people who prefer art that lies a little on the odd side. The reception runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. The Webb Gallery is located at 209 W. Franklin St., Waxahachie.
Saturdays, Sundays. Starts: Jan. 27. Continues through Feb. 24, 2013
