Oh, the weather outside is … yep, it’s still pretty frightful. If there’s one thing Texans don’t like, it’s cold weather. Staying cooped up near the fireplace can only keep the shivers away for so long before it’s time to maneuver around the house. It’s times like these when a big pot of stew begins to look like a big pot of gold. The fourth annual Soup's On! Stewpot Alliance Luncheon and Art Sale is back, and this year former MSNBC correspondent and author of The Glass Castle, Jeannette Walls, serves as the event's keynote speaker. Along with Walls, Soup's On! will feature more than 50 pieces of artwork, including paintings and jewelry, treats from some of Dallas'best chefs and performances by the Hamilton Park Men's Choir. Soup's On! kicks off at 11 a.m., with the lunch beginning at 12 p.m., and lasts until 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Union Station, 400 S. Houston St. Tickets are $150. For more information, call 214-762-1368, or visit thestewpot.org.
