Forget badly painted ceramics or knitted dolls and open up your mind to broader avenues of arts, crafts and thinking with the Dallas Museum of Art’s Think Creatively workshops. Dr. Magdalena Grohman, resident creativity expert at the DMA, will lead a two-part program this month: a brain warm-up followed by an interactive experience in which participants respond to different pieces of art then create art of their own. Grohman “has a way of providing hands-on instruction that really transforms thinking and provides a safe-place for experimentation and expression, ” says Amanda Batson, program coordinator for C3. Expand your mind without chemical assistance at the C3 workshops held once monthly. Tonight's begins at 6:30 and space is limited, so reserve your spot via email to [email protected]. The program is free. The DMA is located at 1717 Harwood St..
