Keep Dallas Observer Free

Who Is The One Who Knocks?

We’re coming up on the end of Breaking Bad, possibly one of the most successful shows in history to feature both crystal meth and exploding tortoises (remember that?). To help gear up for the coming finale, the manic quiz masters at Geeks Who Drink have organized Los Geeks Hermanos: A Breaking Bad Quiz. The pub quiz focuses more on the characters and plot developments in the show than the actual production of meth (guess you’re gonna have to find some other way to make that skill marketable) but if you think you know everything about everyone from Walt to the Salamancas, then head to J. Blacks, 2409 N. Henderson Ave, at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Even if you’re not sure you know all of Marie’s neuroses or Hank’s tics, it’ll be a great review course for the series finale on September 29. Cost is $5 per player with a team limit of six players. Visit geekswhodrink.com/breakingbad.

Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
