Yeah, sure, fine -- we've spent a lotta time pimping that forthcoming Polyphonic Spree disc. Guess it makes up for all those years I spent dogging Tripping Daisy (wasn't a fan till Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb, which wasn't a bad place to become a convert). But Chris Cantalini just posted an entire track ("Section 29 [Light to Follow]") from the forthcoming The Fragile Army over at Gorilla vs. Bear, and it sounds an awful lot like latter-day Daisy -- which is to say, it's astounding. But is it me, or does that guitar riff in there sound a little like "Orange Crush"? Just sayin'. Or askin', actually. --Robert Wilonsky
