This collaboration goes back to an Instagram post from last summer in which Paul declared Dog Haus’ hot dogs “the best in the world.”
Since then, Paul’s relationship with the restaurant has escalated past your typical brand deal. This partnership consists of Paul joining Dog Haus’ board of directors as well as becoming a 25-unit franchisee, including Texas locations in San Antonio, Houston and Dallas.
Leading up to the fight against Tyson (which Paul apparently believes might pull Super Bowl-levels of viewership), Dog Haus will offer special menu items and promotions, “Fight Night Haus Parties” to celebrate Paul’s victories and even meet-and-greets with Paul himself.
“When a once-in-a-generation talent reaches out and says he wants to work with you, you take notice!" Michael Montagano, CEO of Dog Haus, said in a statement to the press. "Our relationship with Jake really has very little to do with his celebrity. It’s about his dynamic personality, relentless drive and the fact that he has revolutionized the way we communicate.”
This is some high praise for the guy who notoriously dropped a diss track against teachers in 2018.
Paul’s involvement in Dallas-area Dog Haus shops should prove particularly advantageous. If he manages to pull out a victory in his fight against Tyson, he’ll have a designated spot to celebrate with friends and fans ready to go. If he loses, however, he’ll have conveniently located freezers full of meat he can place over his bruised face like a cartoon character.
That’s a win-win in our book.
