Everyone knows the only thing better than a sweet voiced tenor is a sweet voiced tenor who happens to be Australian. Now, let's up the ante, because the Ten Tenors are coming to town, and there are, well, ten of them, and they're all Australian. Even if opera isn't your thing, you should wander over to Bass Performance Hall and peep this show. The Ten Tenors may not be a household name around here, but over in Australia their albums bounce out of the stores faster than a kangaroo can hop (we had to make a kangaroo reference--they're from Australia). Besides, these guys don't restrict themselves to opera. You might hear rousing rendition of some great arias, but the Ten Tenors describe their music as "popera," so they cover everything from Verdi to Queen. So head on down to Bass Performance Hall, Fourth and Calhoun Streets in Fort Worth, to see some real live Australians, er, real talented tenors.
