Zero Gradi

Australian-based gelateria and pastry shop Zero Gradi in downtown Dallas — sister store and neighbor of 400 Gradi — is serving some amazing pastries and desserts. Both Gradi concepts are the work of Johnny Di Francesco, an Australian-born and Naples-trained chef. But, this spot is helmed by local pastry chef Lizzy Ramirez. With more than 20 flavors of gelatos and two chocolate fountains (one white, one milk), and a bevy of amazing pastries, there's something (wonderful) for everyone here. They also have a full espresso bar. Don't sleep on the brioche veneziana, a pastry ball with a crunchy exterior that gives way to a spongy inside filled with vanilla custard. Pro-tip: the garage behind the store has a few parking spots for retail.
