Mitch West at the Dallas Comedy House benefiting the DREAM Fund
Comedian Mitch West will perform his half drama, half comedy show (we refuse to say dramedy) "No, But Seriously" this Saturday at the Dallas Comedy House with all proceeds benefiting the DREAM Fund. It's for charity, guys! As Mitch says, "Humor opens the heart." Aww. Now go buy a damn ticket.

There are three show times, so no excuses. See him perform at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. or 10 p.m. Tickets are only $15 and are available online.

LOL! at House of Blues
Featuring Paul Varghese and friends, LOL! is the hot ticket this weekend. When not lamenting the life as an Indian man, Varghese is busy putting together an awesome lineup for this show. We named him Best Stand-up Comedian in 2007, and he's still one you need to see. Ticket prices vary based on seating and are going fast. Buy 'em online here.

The Last Call Comedy Showcase at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre
This Friday and Saturday at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre, go check out some truly uncensored stand up. Rated R for Really...don't bring the kids, Last Call features some of Dallas's hottest comics. Tickets are $12, and there's a one-item minimum order, which includes cheap stuff like soda. But who in the hell wants a damn soda? Be prepared.

Garfunkel and Oates at the Addison Improv
Garfunkel and Oates, AKA actress-songwriters Kate Micucci (Oates) and Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel), are a comedy-folk duo from Los Angeles. They sing about everything from gay marriage to annoying pregnant women. They even have a song called "Sex with Ducks." That alone should be enough to get your butt in a seat. Tickets are available online.

Liberal Arts
Starring How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radner (Just tell us who she is already!) and Elizabeth Olsen (the younger, happier, sane Olsen), Liberal Arts centers around Jesse's (Radner) return to his old college stomping grounds for a professor's retirement party where he's blind-sighted by the young and effervescent Zibby (Olsen). As Jesse squirms through their age difference and flips off about how useless a liberal arts degree is (He's right. It is. Sorry.), he learns a bit more about himself than he bargained for. Liberal Arts opens Friday.
