June 3-5, Taste of Dallas is taking over Fair Park with dozens of restaurants slingin' $2-$5 bites and, as can be expected, plenty of booze. There will be an art gallery, sidewalks covered in chalk art by more than 45 artists, music and the all-new "Foodie Experience Presented by TangoTab," an "indoor event inside Taste of Dallas that includes food and alcohol samplings, chef demonstrations and entertainment," according to a press release.
At Restaurant Island, you'll have a boatload of restaurants to choose from, including La Ventura, Opa Greek Taverna, Texas de Brazil, Hard Eight BBQ and fair favorite Fletcher’s Corny Dogs. One-day admission tickets are $20, but why pay for something you can get for free? On Tuesday, we'll be giving away five pairs of tickets to this year's fest over on our Facebook page. Like us on Facebook (and while you're at it, follow us on Twitter) to get in on the ticket give-away on Tuesday afternoon.
May the odds be ever in your favor.
