Brewfest Adds More Than 100 Participant Breweries

The list of breweries participating in this year's Brewfest continues to grow, now passing 100, with many of the breweries participating for the first time. Bishop Cider Co. and Braindead Brewing are just two local breweries that are joining the celebration this year, with more than 30 new breweries from across the country descending on the Dallas Farmers market this fall.

This year's event will take place September 12, which will come up before you know it. And since ticket prices will go up as the event approaches you might want to think about getting yours now. General admission tickets are currently available at $35 and VIP tickets currently cost $65. Doors open at 6 p.m. for VIPs and 7 p.m. for the rest of us.

There's also an option to purchase a growler with your ticket for $15 in addition to each ticket price. Just print out your ticket voucher, take it to Lone Star Taps and Caps (4740 State Highway, 121 Suite 500, Lewisville) and you'll receive a Brewfest growler filled with your choice of beer. Consider the 32 ounces a measure to keep you tided over until Brewfest doors officially open.

Last year's event was huge and this one is shaping up to be even bigger. VIP tickets sold out and the Dallas Farmers Market was overrun by more than 4,000 beer drinkers. Get your tickets here before prices go up, or before they sell out altogether. Too see a list of participating breweries, check out our Brewfest page here.
