Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
Hey, you love the arts. Well we do too, and that's why we throw
Artopia, a massive immersive experience celebrating those creative people shaping Dallas' exciting new era.
Also, there's booze. You're welcome.
One ticket gets you access to runway shows by local designers, food and drink stations, live music and art-making and curated artwork that we'd like you to know about. It's also where we hand out six thousand dollars in grant money to local artists who are making Dallas more interesting. We call them Masterminds.
If all that weren't enough, we grease-up the dancefloor and light it on fire. (Okay, that last part isn't legal or true, but Artopia is one unmissable affair.) So book January 18, 2014 on your calendar, because you're going.
Since you'll be there and we'll be there, we want to save you a few bucks with our special Observer pre-sale. Those tickets are available beginning this Friday, November 22, but Observer insiders can get theirs a little earlier. Check out all of the details here.
Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
