Dining in the dark has finally made its way to Dallas. Yes, that's right, this is your chance to sit with a bunch of strangers in a pitch-black room and eat vegetarian food. Put another, less crass, way: this is your opportunity to experience a new surrounding, with all of its tastes and sounds and unfamiliar people, in an entirely foreign way. The Blind Cafe includes a vegetarian sensory tasting dinner, wine and dessert as well as an in-the-dark Q&A session and live music for a suggested ticketed price of $85. This project aims to raise awareness for the blind and visually impaired and ultimately to turn personal experience into social change.

Treat Dad to an afternoon of beer and molten glass at Vetro Glassbowing Studio & Gallery. Participants will pick their favorite style of beer glass or mug and then Vetro's lovely artists will get to work creating what shall henceforth be known as the World's Best Beer Glass. A $75 ticket includes the aforementioned handcrafted drinking vessel, two craft beers, snacks and a live glassblowing demo.

As it turns out, the Best Little Brewfest in Texas isn't so little. More than 90 breweries and 300 craft beers will be represented at the fest, including special releases, seasonal brews and Texas wines and spirits. Tickets start at $35 per person.

Witherspoon Distillery is getting in on the Father's Day game with cask-strength tastings directly from the barrel. The Master Distiller's Tour acquaints guests with the ins and outs of production, and gives them an opportunity to taste spirits directly from the barrel. The tour includes three samples from the casks, barbecue and live music courtesy of Zach Coffey. The price is $50 for admission into the distiller's tour as well as the Father's Day celebration.
