Enjoying Craft beer week? It's not over yet. Lauren has been detailing all the beer-laden events you've had to choose from all week, and there's still a few more if you're looking for plans. Don't jump up too quick though. We've got a week to wrap up first.
This week I reviewed Belly and Trumpet, the newest restaurant to grace Uptown's dining scene and likely the best so far. There were a few missteps with the food I encountered there, but the creative cooking kept things fresh and interesting. The place is a good addition to the neighborhood.
Elsewhere on CoA, Kristy Yang is back! She takes a look at Rice and Wheat, a new restaurant that opened up just down Maple Avenue from Maple and Motor. Yang blesses the new restaurant's pho, and just like that she's off to Seattle -- so long.
We also celebrated two Dallas barbecue joints that made Texas Monthly's top 50 list, drank way too much tequila over at Urban Taco and found a new restaurant perfectly suited to my childhood hero Captain Caveman.
Over on the Eats Blog, Leslie Brenner reviewed TJ's Seafood and LARK on the Park. LARK got three stars and TJ's new cafe got two. Kim Pierce also has this take on what to expect at the farmers markets this weekend.

Side Dish, meanwhile, touted the list of all lists. Nancy Nichols has reviewed 100 restaurants she claims are the best in Dallas. The magazine is having a big party to announce their picks, and apparently Nichols is is going to experience a lot of pie in the face. Sounds like fun.
On Full Custom Gospel Barbecue Daniel Vaughn released some of the details for his book tour. The Barbecue Snob has been in New York City this week, is back in town this weekend to host a private party and then hits the road again. If you're a fan, Vaughn is hosting a big party next weekend at Four Corners Brewery. We'll tell you more about that next week.
Entrée Dallas has a food porny post about the greasy food of Irving Avenue. Burgers, briskets, tacos are available for nearby office workers. With nearby Oak, FT33, Meddlesome Moth and Ascension, the Design District is really becoming the place to dine.
