This Thursday, Feb. 6, Foxtrot Market is reopening its second Dallas location at 6565 Hillcrest Ave., near the SMU Campus.
The market's University Park location will have an expanded menu that includes signature breakfast tacos, exclusive blends from local roasters and Foxtrot's signature gummies and gummy mixes.
Foxtrot is an upscale convenience store meets third-wave coffee shop meets boutique winery. It was founded in Chicago in 2015 and spread to D.C., Dallas and Austin. Four original Dallas Foxtrots abruptly shuttered last April. The company filed for bankruptcy and has since restructured. Despite some backlash — and by that we mean social media never forgets — the company is steadfast in re-establishing a foothold in Dallas.
The company opened a store on Knox Street in January, and some commenters are elated to see the company reopening, while many (maybe more) want to know if it has taken care of unsettled debts from the abrupt closure last year.
This second Dallas grand-reopening starts Friday, Feb. 7, with exclusive promotions. SMU students can get a Mustang Cold Brew for $3, plus free samples.
On Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., kids can get a free lemonade refresher with any purchase. Throughout the day, the store will offer samples of local products.
