What better way to show that special someone just how much he or she is loved this Valentine's Day than with a romantic brunch or dinner out? We've compiled a few suggestions, any one of which would be a nice way to acknowledge this person that life has inexplicably adhered to your good side.

During the 18th century, Saint Valentine's keys were given to lovers as tokens, symbolizing the giver's desire that his or her heart be unlocked. While romantic, such gestures cannot compare to the modern day tradition of wining and dining. Because nothing acts like bolt-cutters to the heart like a four course meal. At LARK on the Park, an enticing parade of dishes is planned in celebration of V-Day, with mains like duck confit and porterhouse steak, and desserts of dark chocolate terrine and orange cake with cream cheese mousse. The cost is $85 per person. Optional wine pairings will be available for an additional $45. For reservations and additional information, call 214-855-5275.

"I love you" just sounds all the more sincere when it is said between bites of pork belly. Let Meddlesome Moth's four course dinner do the talking for you: Choose fried oysters or spring rolls for the first course, lobster fra diavolo or mache and radicchio salad for the second, and pork belly, cod cooked with little neck clams, or orange-glazed short rib for your main. End things on a sweet note with espresso tart, rasberry linzer or mango passion fruit cake. The cost is $90 per person. For additional information and to reserve a table, call 214-628-7900.
